Slam Bang Lodge

Our comfortable floating fishing lodge is tucked into a protected inlet in Duchies’ Cove Surrounded by wildlife: eagles, sea otters & whales. We’re small – 8 guests maximum! This means you get to plan your day the way you want. Clean, comfortable rooms, double occupancy, full bathroom & daily housekeeping. Excellent meals with your choice of red or white wine served with dinner (additional alcohol is BYOB). Guest lounge is available for guests to enjoy and relaxing in. Kayaks are available for guests use.

Fishing Locations

Slam Bang Fishing lodge is located on the northwest coast of Vancouver Island, British Columbia in Canada in the remote and beautiful Kyuquot Sound. Our lodge is situated just 5 minutes to the open ocean off the West Coast of Vancouver Island. We are close enough you can come in for a nice prepared lunch. Come for the Salmon and Halibut fishing or be inspired and relax in the natural beauty of the surrounding area.

Types of Fish

You get fully guided fishing. Our experienced and seasoned fishing guides, they love to fish and that’s why they do it. They can tell you where to drop a line for the Giant West Coast Salmon, Halibut or a tasty cod. Every year millions of salmon travel through our area, only to stop and enjoy the vast amount of feed our waters provide. The unique marine topography here allows the fish to stay amongst the continental shelf. The large outcropping of the Brooks Peninsula ensures the fish stay here to feast during the summer.
