About Us

What makes fishing at Monet so special? It's our Exclusive Rights Territory!!  ONLY Monet fishermen are allowed to fish our lakes. We keep fishing pressure to a minimum allowing our clients a better chance at that monster northern or walleye. We offer Northern Pike and Walleye fishing at our remote camps. Each group will have an area all to themselves. For an added adventure, hike back to one of the more secluded lakes and find that age old northern that's never even seen a lure!! We also offer guided fishing trips to some of our most remote lakes. Ask about pricing for the guided day trips. Fishing at Monet is not the average fishing trip, we make each stay special. Our goal is not to gain new clients each year, but to gain return clients. We are proud to say that we have many return visitors year after year. Come experience Quebec fishing at its finest at Monet. What to expect on a Monet Fishing Trip. Each group of 4 to 12 people will have an area all to themselves. Our camps are located anywhere from 1 to 4 hours of travel from the main lodge. Each group of fishermen is responsible for their own meals and fishing supplies. Possession and creel limits apply to each person. We will provide transportation to and from your camp. The History of MonetIn the early 1900's Monet was developed as a train village. Originally built to house employees of the Canadian National Railand their families, as the rail was constructed and operated. The Main Lodge, was an all-in-one train depot, kitchen, school, post office, & sleeping quarters when built. In 1957, Monet became a Hunting & Fishing Outfitter, with only the main lodge and one lake. Over the years more territorywas added until it became the property it is today, featuring over 50 lakes.
