Masset Fishing Adventures

Services include the following:

Guided fishing charter

Bret Johnston has been fishing the North end of the Queen Charlotte Islands for 14 years and has been guiding for the past 12 years. Bret meets all the requirements of the Ministry of Transport to operate a passenger vessel. Bret spent 28 years in the Canadian Airforce and retired as a Warrant Officer. His excellent knowledge of the local waters and ability to find the fish will make your fishing trip very productive.

Our boats are 26 ft. Discovery 727’s are fully equipped custom built charter boats with a fully enclosed heated cabin and private toilet, making them very comfortable and an excellent choice for family groups. Both our boats and Captains are fully compliant with Ministry of Transport regulations. Your catch is cleaned on the boat as it is caught and packed in ice to ensure that the fish arrives at the dock properly chilled and ready for you to take home or for delivery to our local processing facility, Seapak.

We can also provide excellent accommodation; Alder Lodge a clean comfortable home away from home has three bedrooms with four beds, cable TV, internet a well-appointed kitchen and laundry facilities. Located in Masset and within easy walking distance of local shopping and restaurants. We offer pickup from Masset airport and provide transport to and from the boat.

Payment & Terms:

All rates or services are quoted in Canadian funds. Quoted rates do not include transportation to and from the islands, fishing licenses, processing of fish, and shipping of fish. Mastercard & Visa accepted here.

Cancellation Policy:

There will be cancellations due to severe weather conditions. If sea conditions are considered to be unsafe by the captain, the vessel will not leave port and the cost of the charter will be refunded.
